Networking
This year, the word has been "growth."
Practicing, learning, pushing, and showing up every day—all with the goal of growth.
Growth of Swiftemp.
Growth in Manufacturing.
Growth in Leadership.
Growth of my Team.
Growth in Understanding.
Growth of the Mind.
All of these require showing up every day, striving to learn, listen, understand, and seek solutions.
Learning comes from reading books you’ve never read before, or from revisiting those you’ve read a million times. It comes from solving problems you’ve never encountered, or from finally finding the definitive solution to problems you’ve solved a thousand times before.
In the end, growth is not just a destination but a continuous journey. It’s the daily commitment to improvement, the relentless pursuit of knowledge, and the willingness to face challenges head-on. As we continue this path, we strengthen not only ourselves but also those around us, driving forward with clarity and purpose.

Networking
Over the past 5 or 6 years, I’ve been steadily building a Rolodex of contacts from various industries, ranging from accounting and HR services to uniforms and beyond. This network has become a valuable resource not just for me, but for my customers as well.
Recently, a customer reached out, needing help with some month-end and year-end accounting tasks—definitely not our area of expertise. But thanks to the relationships I’ve cultivated, particularly through the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA), I was able to connect them with a trusted accounting firm that I knew could meet their needs.
The best part? My connection won the business, which helped her company grow, and my customer got the assistance they needed. It’s a classic win-win, made possible through the power of networking.
While this particular win wasn’t directly for Swiftemp, I’m confident it will come full circle. By helping others, you often find that the favor is returned. My accounting connection now has her ear to the ground for opportunities where our staffing services might be needed. It’s a great reminder that in business, it’s not just about what you know—it’s about who you know and how you can help.
At Swiftemp, we strongly believe in the power of networking and referrals. Some of our best connections have been made at GMA events and on LinkedIn. Keep building those relationships—you never know when they might pay off! If you haven't already, I highly recommend joining Jason Moss and his Georgia Manufacturing Alliance!
